Community Giving Report
Bob Evans Farms is a company with a lot of heart. Our spirit of giving began long ago with our founder, Bob Evans. His generosity and passion for helping others set the foundation for the work we do today. Central to this work is the connection between our restaurants, our manufacturing plants, and the communities we serve – a relationship that is realized in many ways. You see it in our community fundraisers held to benefit local causes, schools and community groups. It’s realized each holiday season when our employees and guests raise money to purchase meals for families in need.
It’s this real and heartfelt connection between our employees and their communities that makes the difference – it’s why we refer to these programs collectively as BE│KIND. You can learn about our team’s efforts in our annual Community Giving Report.
BOB EVANS FARMS GIVING PILLARS
Bob Evans Farms employees hold campaigns for signature partnerships each year, strengthening the fabric of our home state of Ohio and all of the communities where we live and work. From Pelotonia and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to causes that benefit schools and veterans, Bob Evan Farms believes in the value and legacy of giving.
Our giving is based on four community pillars: health and wellness, food and nutrition, education and community. And as a community and family focused company, we give to many causes that impact families with children and the communities where they live.
Bob Evans restaurants host “Community Fundraisers” throughout the year for local organizations such as schools, PTOs, libraries and other local community causes. Restaurants donate 15% of sales to the organization for all guest checks that present a flier for the event. This is another way Bob Evans Farms builds strong relationships and strong communities.
