Company founder Bob Evans passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2007. Bob Evans retired from the company in 1986 and lived on his farm in Gallia County, Ohio, with his wife Jewell, until he passed away. Bob Evans was very active in the community through his support of youth organizations, wildlife preservation and programs benefiting family farms.
