An easy casserole-type dish you can prepare in 40 minutes -- great for weeknights!
Ingredients
- 1 package Bob Evans Sweet or Hot Italian Sausage (19 oz)
- 4 ounces button mushrooms, diced
- 3 cups cubed stuffing
- 1 cup chicken broth or water
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 400F. In nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook sausage and mushrooms until sausage is browned and mushrooms are tender. Set sausage aside. In 9-inch square baking dish, combine stuffing and broth. Place sausage and mushrooms on top. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until sausage is fully cooked.
