Biscuit mix gives these sausage and cheese morsels a light and fluffy texture.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Bob Evans Original Recipe Sausage Roll
- 2 cups biscuit mix
- 2 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Directions
Preheat oven to 350F. Combine ingredients in large bowl until blended. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on baking sheets. Bake about 25 minutes or until golden brown; Serve hot. Refrigerate leftovers.

These Sausage Cheese Puffs are GREAT!!!! I have made them many, many times. When I serve them, I have a dish of Cocktail &/or Chili Sauce {or both} available for dipping, which I believe greatly enhances the flavors of the puffs!!! There are never any left & I always double the recipe when I make them!!!
