Delicious for breakfast or dinner. Bob Evans savory sausage and hash browns, fresh broccoli, and cheddar cheese is a tasty way to start - or end - your day.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Bob Evans Original Recipe Sausage Roll
- 1 package Bob Evans Seasoned Hash Browns Shredded Potatoes (20 oz)
- 1 bag frozen broccoli cuts (14 oz)
- 1 can cheddar cheese soup (10.75 oz)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 400F. In a skillet, crumble and cook sausage over medium heat until brown. Drain sausage. Place potatoes in a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Top with cooked sausage, then add broccoli. In small bowl, combine soup and milk. Spoon over broccoli. Top with grated cheese. Cover and bake for 40-45 minutes or until hot.

My family loved this recipe! It easy to make and this is the second time I am going to make this and I am changing a few things just to try other ingredients....will write again to say how it went!

I made this as the recipe states. I did rinse the brocolli in a colander and chopped up the bigger pieces before adding it to the casserole. Once we tasted this dish we felt that it needed eggs. I DO NOT like baked eggs so I fried an egg, sunny side up and placed it on top of this casserole in individual bowls. It was very good with the egg added and also would be good without the egg for maybe a side dish at dinnertime.
